But I loved you that much.

The subject of marriage between Shane and me was always brought up as a joke because everything about us is the same.

“Oh, you wear your pen in your shirt, too? We should get married!”

It was eventually said enough times throughout 3-months time that we just decided, “Well, yeah. Let’s really get married!” So we go through and pick out a date for our wedding. Then we change it… and change it again. So indecisive!

Shane brought up all these cool dates like 12/12/12 and how we missed 11/11/11. I told him that 10/11/12 was coming up and that was it… We were going to run to the courthouse and get married on October 11, 2012!

But Shane still wanted to propose before getting married. He probably had about two weeks to do so and he definitely did about five hours before we planned on getting married! :p

I was supposed to be getting a new phone and Shane had it. He handed me the box and told me to open it and see how I like the phone. With the phone was this coupon:

He said that he drew it pixel by pixel and had to make Hello Kitty and Dear Daniel look as close to “us” as possible. Notice the expiration date? I had to “use” the coupon on that day or it would “expire”, haha! xD

We walked to the park where we had our second non-date. The same park where I got eaten by mosquitoes. ;P We stopped in a spot where there weren’t any people (since I don’t like attention on me!) and although we already knew that he was going to propose and we were getting married in just a few hours, Shane was nervous and trembling. Cutest thing ever.

He simply asked, “Kerri, will you marry me?” and I replied, “Sure! Let’s get married today!” 😉

There’s my engagement ring and my wedding ring! Everything about it is exactly what I wanted! And a few hours later, we were married at the Gaston County courthouse! 🙂 We didn’t want to say any vows because we are saving that for our wedding. So instead of saying “I do”, Shane said, “Yes!” and I said, “Heck yes!”

HECK YES. 😀
